A Comparative Corpus-based Analysis of Boosters in NESs and NNESs’ Academic Articles

چکیده
The purpose of the current study was to examine frequently used boosters in academic articles written by Native (NESs) and Non-native (NNESs) Speakers English (Turkish researchers) field Language Teaching. Investigating whether differences exist use these markers between NESs NNESs’ another aim study. Within this purpose, data collected from one hundred (NESs= 50, NNESs= 50 articles) published 2016 2021 two different international journals indexed ERIC using keyword ‘English Teacher Education’, were analysed AntConc concordance tool. Log-likelihood statistics run find out any significant difference exists terms frequency. analysis revealed that statistically underuse writers their types found.
